Any recommendations as to the best way to travel between Southampton and London LHR Airport?

Quote:
1. Hire car and/or taxi (highest level of comfort and cost) 2. Pier to train station by taxi, high speed train to London (Waterloo station, I believe), then either train or tube to LHR. (Paddington station may also figure in here somewhere, but I'm not sure of exact details.) 3. Pier to bus station by taxi, then National Express bus to Victoria Station, then tube to LHR (or make your way to one of the other stations and train to LHR) 4. Purchase a Cunard package and have them arrange transfers. 5. I suppose you can also hike or hitchhike given enough time and desire. The choice of which is best depends also on how many people travelling together and how much luggage you may have. |

Best affordable might be taxi to National Express Bus Station and then direct bus to Heathrow (no trains, they can drop you right at BA check-in)

If going by train then only take the train from Southampton Central to Woking and use a RailAir coach service from there to LHR.

I always use waterside executive cars. Email: info@watersideexecutivecars.co.uk
They meet and greet in the terminal and are very flexible with late and delayed flights etc. The cost was £65 |
