" The ship will depart the Caribbean in April next year and head to Singapore and on to China via Dubai and the Suez Canal."
Wow, that would be a nice cruise to be on, anyone know roughly how long a voyage like this would take?

It will pass through the Suez Canal then head to Dubai. Then it will proceed to it new home port.

Perfect timing as usual for RCI. I heard on the news this morning that the Chinese economy is starting to slow down. This might be a good thing for RCI or a a bad thing?

It will probably be in three legs - a transatlantic to Barcelona, Barcelona to Dubai (like Senerande) with stops in Egypt and then Dubai to Singapore, via India

If recent casino earnings trend are any indications, RCCL could end up expanding & adding a high limits casino, packed with Asian table games - kowtowing to the chained smokers.
Duty-free shoppers, rejoice, as high-end shops could bring their Hermes, LV, Coach, Burberry and Rolex lines to the floating city, not to mention that anything with an i (iPad, iPhone, iTouch, etc.) will be an instant hit.
On a more serious note, the new Hong Kong cruise terminal, now being readied, at the old Kai Tak Airport in Kowloon, should be ready & open for mega cruise ships to dock alongside the pier, without tendering - won't be surprised if other lines will start re-positioning ships in their fleets to match the changes.
