To the best of my knowledge, of the major mass marketed cruise lines, you won't find self-service laundries on NCL, RCCL, Celebrity and the newer ships on HAL. Only Princess, Carnival and HAL's ships built before Zuiderdam have them. There also were self-service laundries on QM2.
Having the laundry is a big plus for me, too. Looks like the trend of all lines is away from them, unfortunately. Heard that the maintenance is a problem and bet they make more money from laundry fees. Plus doing away with laundries gives them more cabins to sell.
All pluses for the cruise lines and not for me.
