We are planning on taking a cab from the ship straight to Edinburgh Castle. Are there cabs at the port who can handle a party of 5? Should I try to book a taxi in advance? What do you think?

I would certainly book in advance. There are a few firms. We have family in the area and they have used these people before. http://www.premiertaxisfife.com/
You will also need to work out when and how you plan to get back |

We live near Rosyth and Duloch taxis run a lot of mini-vans and people carriers in this area. We use them regularly and have always found them to be reliable. 01383- 840555
