Default 2 hours Nassau, any must-see/do

Hello all, we are in port from 7-2, and dolphin encounters said that the only time that would work for us would be to come on the 8:30 and leave on the 11:00. It's time to do the interactions, but not much else before you have to return. So that puts us back at the ferry terminal at 11:30ish which probably gives us safely 2 hours to do any must see/do items and get back to the ship. Any ideas for such a short time?

We did the Dolphin Encounters on our RCL cruise. It takes a little longer than you think. We were there from like 12 to 8 or so, so we were at a different time. We left right as soon as we docked. We got back around 5ish. The problem is when you leave from the cruise ship, the boat stops to pick up other passengers. And as you return it does the trip in reverse, making you the last stop. And they take you kind of right by the Straw Market, so you do have to make your way back to the terminal (about 10 minute walk or so)

We did have enough time to go eat dinner at Senor Frogs. And we thought we'd shop our way back to the boat, but by that time, many of the shops were starting to close up shop.

So you'd have some time, but not as much as you think.

Hope this helps!
Shawn

If you have at least a couple of hours, you could do the self-guided walking tour (below) or as much of it as you feel comfortable doing. It took us almost exactly 2 hours to do it at a leisurely pace, without stopping at Fort Fincastle.

Then click on "Walking Tour" to the left of the screen.

Sorry, after I posted I saw the link didn't work. Try this one. It is the walking tour at left on bottom.
