Promenade room 6192 FOS

Does anyone know what is below room 6192 promenade of FOS. I just booked it for 1-27-13. I have the diagram of rooms in the RCI book but when you go from deck 5 to deck 6 the elevators and distance does not match. It appears it could possibly be over the jewelry and gift shop or the ice cream parlor. Also does anyone have any photos of rooms on deck 6 looking out to the promenade. Many thanks. This will our first time in promenade room. Getting near our last cruises and wanted to try one before we have to give it up. . Love to people watch and always wanted to try one.

Ummm, I hate to tell you, but there is no cabin 6192 on the Freedom of the Seas. Judging by your reference to the gift and jewelry shops, I think you're talking about 6291 instead.

If so, according to www.cruisedeckplans.com where you can drag decks on top of each other, your cabin is over the gift shop and across from the right side of the General Store (next to the Logo Souvenir Shop).

Thank you so much, when you get old you transpose numbers. I was just sitting on the sofa and told my wife I believed i had put 6192 instead of 6291 and got up to check. Thanks so much , I do have 6291.

I think that is a good location. Now, you will hear the noise from the parades, but they do not last long. But if you go to bed early, before 11AM, it will wake you up. We love the PR cabins. Enjoy the Freedom...love the ship
