Food Review - Allure of the Seas 9/23/12

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, just got off the Allure of the Seas and have plenty of pictures of the new menu deliciousness my party encountered on board. I'll throw together pictures of the food, the menus, some comments on the meals, and maybe a few misc from the rest of the cruise.

If you have any questions about anything allure, feel free to ask. This is my second trip aboard so I will try my best to answer!

According to my friend, the Watermelon Pudding was absolutely delicious, and the consistency was perfect. I personally had the pork chop and the marinade was just right, not too much but the taste was spot on. The carrot cake was also very rich, I couldn't even finish it all. But it was so good though.

Royal Beef Burger - The burger was the best I had on board, and the fries were not very "cajuny" but I enjoyed them.

Praline Chocolate Crunch - As a whole this was alright, the crunch part was a little too hard and it took some real muscle to cut through it.

Aged Hand-Cut Manhattan Strip Steak - They had a hard time cooking it right. But when they did, it was very good. 2/3 times I got it, it was not cooked how I ordered.

Good job. I am going on Allure in December. Me and the Mrs have decided that we will try a few of the specialist food joints. What ones would you say are the best value and the best grub.

Welcome to the Oct 28 sailing. We are also going to be on and we are really looking forward to only our 2nd cruise. No plans on any speciality restaurants. the offerings look too good at the MDR. Take care and smooth cruising.
