AMA Blue Danube Discovery Cruise - arrival time into Nuremberg

We will be taking the AMA Blue Danube Discovery Cruise in the Summer of 2013. Can anyone who has taken this cruise in the past tell us about what time does the boat get into Nuremberg?

having been on AMA in June.The times can vary depending on locks,etc.

When they referred to PM it was usually after lunch...say 1pm.

If trying to arrange private tours.,,let them know you re not SURE of exact times.We brought along a cell phone and contacted them WHEN we were almost there. PS.can also pass by a town on certain conditions(weather delays,ship problems,etc).So never give a non refundable deposit ahead of time.That happended to us on 2 occasions in 9 river cruises,so RARE.

Alexandra cruiser....Is that the arrival time for the boat into Nuremburg or when the tours are left off in Roth? Also if you arrange for a Private Tour can you also get off there?

that was just general info re arrival time in ports and not definite to Nuremburg,in particular.
Sorry, don t know the answer re.Roth port. But, in general, time of PM arrival was after lunch.

Ama Cruises from Bamberg (Northbound) usually arrive early in the at night / morning. Cruises from Regensburg (south) to Nuremberg have their tours usually scheduled for 14 - 14:30. Sometimes they dock in the port around noon, sometimes they arrive just in time. The problem is, you'll never know how many others ships are before you - it takes about 45min to use the lock.

Is that the arrival time for the boat into Nuremburg or when the tours are left off in Roth?

We don't go to Roth (Departure time 1pm) any more, but the ships cruise to Nuremberg before the tour starts.
