Could anyone tell us where the QM2 docks in NYC, and which airport is the closest to the dock. We can fly into Newark, JFK or LaGuardia. Coming from West Coast so we'll have to fly in a day early. How early can you check in on embarkation day? Thanks for your help.

Not a stupid question at all! The QM2 docks at the West Side Terminals, in midtown Manhatten, all the way over on the West Side, on 12th Avenue and 56th Street. The nearest airport is La Guardia - a taxi ride will take you about an hour - more if you are battling rush hour traffic. Embarkation normally begins at 1:00pm, but to avoid a crush, Cunard assigns an embarkation time which will be included on your ticket. Have a wonderful trip!

It's a few of blocks north from where the "Circle Line" departs on it's cruises around Manhattan island, and just a block or two north of the "Intrepid" aircraft carrier museum.

The pier is a short cab ride (10 Min) from any Midtown hotel. We stayed at Time Sq. and it was about a $10 cab fare.
