Default Post your cruise ornaments

Just added the Coral Princess. I always hang them in one section of the tree! Merry Christmas!

Those ships are cute.

The Christmas ornaments we have are from the various ports -- nothing from the ships.

I have never taken any pictures of them.

Mine, too. Each one stirs a pleasant memory as it's hung on the tree.

That's a great idea--I too usually get at least 1 or 2 ornaments to remember what ports I have been to.

I get ornaments from almost everywhere we go, and that does include ships.

On my tree currently are Carnival "Tropicale", Princess Alaska/Inside Passage (generic, but bought on Pacific Princess), Norwegian "Jade "and "Sun", Royal Caribbean "Serenade" and "Mariner". I didn't think to get them on other cruises, but now I know I should have. NCL-A "Pride of America", didn't have them, as their on-board shops were not supplied by the line.

Did you buy these on the ship in the gift shop?

Dang - I wish I'd have thought about that!! Do all cruise lines carry them? or are yours from a particular line?

I have about 9 from carnival, one from Disney and one from princess. Don't know of other lines have them. You might find them on eBay. But each ship is individually names. Great memories each Christmas of my 16 cruises

Norwegian does (except Pride of America), and they are pretty flashy. I have them from Royal Caribbean as well. Will find out about Regent Seven Seas in April.
If you do an Alaska cruise/tour with Princess, the Alaska Rail Road shop in the fancy rail cars have their own. Choo Choo!! And if you do the White Pass RR at Skagway, they have nice ones too, in their depot shop.

I guess I need to book another cruise so I can start my ornament collection! Think my husband would fall for that?

I saw the ships in the gift shop onboard and thought what a great idea for a Christmas ornament....have bought one for each ship we have been on. We also buy an ornament from each city we visit. If we can't find a real Christmas ornament, there is always keychains. I usually take the chain part off and add a red/green ribbon to hang it. When I get home from our trip, I pack them away and then it is such fun to unwrap our ornaments and talk about how much fun we had visiting that specific place. It usually takes us quite a long time to decorate as we usually have a glass or two of wine while we reminisce...lots of fun!
