We are going on Viking Emerald China cruise tour in March. Any words of wisdom from previous travelers? Thanks.

Here are my words of wisdom for anyone who is taking any of Viking's China itineraries--Jewels, Delights, Roof and Explorer.

Check out the Viking China thread. It is full of advice and people who have taken the cruise who are ready and able to answer your questions.

We have already given tips on weather, what to wear, luggage, food, flights, shopping and more.

Default Shanghai to Beijing in March 2014

We're taking the Viking Emerald in March in China. We leave Greensboro on March 21 and starting to get excited about it. We traveled with Viking twice before in Europe and are really looking forward to seeing the Orient.

Ditto on this excellent advice.

Rosie B, welcome to Cruise Critic. There's no need to start another thread. Take a look through the existing one, and then post there if you have specific questions. Folks are more than willing to help.
