Default Majesty of the Seas Review

Just back from my first cruise on the Majesty of the Seas (5/9-5/12) and what a fantastic time I had! Everything was just beautiful and the weather was just perfect. Embarkment and disembarkment was a breeze, maybe 10-15 minutes tops. I had no idea what to expect and was very pleased. Even the munster drill was quick. The sail away party was a blast and the midnite bbq and choclate buffet were great as well. Our room was small, however I'm not one to spend too much time in my room..(get out there and have some fun!)
The entire staff was very nice and accommodating. The food was very good and hot. We went on the Yellowbird excursion in Nassau, what a blast!! If you like to have a good time this is not to be missed. Got some nice trinkets in Nassau. CoCo Cay is fabulous!! Beautiful white sandy beaches and the ocean is so incredibly blue it almost doesn't look real..picture perfect. Key West was a cute little fisherman's town with a lot of different shops also. If you're wanting to take the Hemingway tour make arrangements early, it was sold out so we took the Conch Trolley tour instead. It was nice and informative, however you can't get off. All in all we had a great time and I would highly recommend the Majesty of the Seas to anyone. In the meantime...HAPPY SAILING

On the Majesty since it is an old ship, is your room key the same card as your cruise card? I was on an older Carnival ship last year and I had to carry 2 cards around all the time, a bit annoying.

I love the Majesty; its small enough where you don't have to wait for everything and big enough to still have a blast.

My daughter was married on the Majesty and brought along a party of 30 for the cruise. It was so much fun. I loved the ports as well. I especially loved being in a different place each day with no sea days. We've been on lots of cruises, but that one still ranks right at the top for FUN time. No seasickness problems either. I've heard the western caribbean can be rough seas at times. I've experienced them in different places on different cruises. You just never know when seas will pick up.

The Majesty is a great ship with a great crew. Glad to hear you had a good time.

Hi, Bogforce. We sailed on Majesty to the Bahamas in June 03 and felt absolutely no rocking. We sailed on ships twice that size and felt more of the ocean there than we did on the Majesty. Enjoy!!
