Default Western med excursions

Hi everyone

This will be our 1st RC cruise (having done 2 with thomsons before).
We are sailing out of Rome on 29th June for 7 days.

We have not been to any of the ports (except Palma) and was wondering if any of you good people could advise the best/worst things to do ashore.
We call at, Genoa, Marseilles, Palma, Valencia, Barcelona.
Can we do any of these on our own?

All advice gratefully accepted.

we have only been to Barcelona. The best way to see and enjoy it is taking the Hop on/ Hop off bus. It goes to all the worthwhile places.
There are 2 routes which cross each other and you can switch between the 2.

Hope this helps, if only a little.
