We may not have that many passports, but we are the home of America's music. Proud to be from Mississippi!

Wish they had been performing on other cruises.

It would be very easy for HAL to arrange these bands for other ships. At the BB King clubs there are house bands at each one. The band is a house band, just on a higher caliber than the HAL cats. HAL will have to pay them more.

There are so many fab blues musicians scraping out a living, I am sure the booking agents could assemble more bands. HAL would certainly be a winner here. It would help improve their weakest area, which is of course entertainment.

Do I correctly assume they play jazz and blues type music? BB King is one of the greatest blues players ever so I would think a band named after him would at least try to stick with his genre.

Hal Cats still play around the ship-The BB King band played in the Queens lounge each nite-they played a little of everything-blues,oldies,dance music and were great-the dance floor was full and very audience friendly.
