Default Dress Code in steak house and MDR

I am sure this has been asked thousands of times. I am on the Breeze this coming weekend. We have reservations at the steak house. Can you go in shorts and collared shirt? Also, the MDR, shorts good for dinner (not torn up, dirty, beat up shorts, but nice with collared shirts and tennis shoes). Elegant nights are not our thing. We are dressed in suits all day long, so I am looking forward to wearing very, very casual clothes.

The other 5 nights dress shorts are fine, just not on elegant night, find some long pants for that night. you dont have to really dress up, just not shorts on elegant night. No formal nights on carnival any more.

Default Steakhouse

I don't believe shorts are permitted in the Steakhouse. However, t-shirts are evidently okay. We dined in Nick and Nora's twice on the Miracle and on both nights there were diners dressed in T-shirts and jeans.

Ive been in the Steakhouse on Elegant/Formal night and proper attire is required, which means jackets for men. I like the Steakhouse on this night it seems to be less crowded. At least it was on the Glory.
