Default Balcony On Deck Ten

Anyone have any pictures of the mid ship balcony cabins? Do they look down onto lifeboats? Thanks ahead...

Note the way in which the chairs are positioned! They are not facing out to the ocean. The rear legs of those chairs hit the floor a sufficiently long distance behind the highest point on the back of the chair to mean that I couldn't position the chair facing the ocean and sit in it! Furthermore if you are the first person on the balcony you cannot sit on the chair in front of the balcony door opening and allow another person to reach the second chair without standing up and moving the occupied chair. Ditto when the person in the chair furthest from the balcony door opening wants to leave the balcony.......IMHO a minor annoyance on a lovely ship. This was my experience in a deck 12 FWD cabin rather than deck 10.

This balcony situation is another screw-up by NCL. Who could forget the silly bathroom/showers and the windows in the public bathrooms on the Epic that allow passengers on other ships in port watch you urinate?

These way-too-small balconies are a complete surprise. Another one of those What In The Hell Were They Thinking?! How do these things happen? Who was not paying attention? I'm mystified!!! Glad we didn't book one of these!

All they need is miniature chairs to match the miniature tables!

They are very tiny, for sure, but as much as we enjoy the balcony, it may not make much difference to us on this cruise. It sure would be difficult to have someone over, it would be pretty crowded hanging out there. If you want to layout in the sun for awhile, that could be difficult depending on the angle of the sun, especially considering two people and which one gets the little table to rest your feet on. That said, future cruisers will certainly be paying more attention to the balcony sizes, and hope their travel agents do as well.
