Default Taxi fare from FLL to Port of Miami

Does anybody know how much it would cost for a taxi from Ft Lauderdale Airport to the port of Miami? It's for 3 people. Are there any cheaper alternatives? The carnival website says they offer transportation from the airport to the port for $30 a person/one way

A little reading on the board would reveal the taxi fare is $85, before tip. So somewhere around $30+ per person. Each way.

Further reading would reveal shuttles are the best deal, around $20pp, each way, before tip.

QLS transportation (www.qualitylimoservice.com ), SAS (www.ridesas.com), MJS transportation (www.gomjstrans.com ), and Go Airport Shuttle (http://goairportshuttle.com/) are FLL based shuttle services with prices starting at about $15 per person each way (yes they can also take you back to FLL after your cruise).

Check with several vendors as some may not service the FLL area hotel you are staying at the night before your cruise. Good luck!

Try QLS Transportation (you can google it)- cost is about $15 pp one way, reserve right online, paid by credit card prior to pickup (a few days before). They call you when your plane lands (we were told to call them but they called us before we could) waiting right outside to pick us up. Great experience.

Happy Sailing!!

I keep reading about this service. They seem fantastic! Will they pick up FROM the POM after the cruise & take passengers back to the airport in FLL?
Thanks for the info,
Caro

One of the most often suggested shuttle providers, along with SAS, on these boards. And yes, they can also transfer you back to FLL from POM after your cruise. Good luck!
