Coral Princess GREAT CRUISETOUR DESPITE WEATHER by BURNSMN
Pre-Cruise Flew into Vancouver the night before cruise. We took the Canada Line Train from the airport to the Waterfront Station near Canada Place. This was easy to do. After you get your luggage go across to the parking garage, go upstairs and catch the train. Our hotel was the Pan Pacific which is located about two blocks from the Waterfront Station. We booked a cruise package at the hotel which included breakfast and transfer of your luggage from the hotel room directly to your ship cabin. In the hotel you can actually take an elevator from the lobby to the ship terminal. Embarkation Very easy getting on the ship at Canada Place. It took about thirty minutes total from the time we left our room until we were in our cabin on the ship. This included going through US Customs in the terminal. For the first time since we have been cruising, our cabin was ready upon boarding and this was at 12:30. Continue reading... GREAT CRUISETOUR DESPITE WEATHER

Carnival Fantasy Carnival Fantasy = Perfect for travelilng with a lil one by Disneydiva84
There are not too many reviews which discuss brining an infant on the ship which is simply because not many do. This is my 11th cruise and normally I do not post reviews however this cruise might make it become a normal end to the trip! We decided to bring our son (8 months old at sailing) on his first cruise last Spring when rates dropped and financially it seemed like to great of a deal to pass up (especially considering we had a certificate from Carnival to use by March 14) There are various reviews out there about taking an infant - many say absolutely others say don't you dare! Here's our experience. First a note on our packing: We packed two sets of diaper sleeves, two formula, four bottles, disposable spoons and mats, high chair cover, a few toys, baby food, and lots of outfits - we made sure to carry this on as a seperate duffle to pack at the end of the trip in the suitcase - we ended up with one sleeve of diapers left and a box of formula but better safe than sorry on that as you can't buy them on the ship. Norwegian Breakaway Read The Reviews - Experience The Breakaway Yourself by Highboy90
Prior to my cruise aboard the NCL Breakaway on August 25, 2013, I would read every review written with anticipation. On several occasions, I almost canceled the cruise after reading some low rated reviews. Well, glad I didn't! Cruise Date: August 25 - September 01, 2013 Itinerary: Bermuda! 7-day cruise. Three nights out. Two nights in Bermuda. Two nights back to New York. Background: One previous cruise which was on the NCL Jewel back in 2012 to the Bahamas. Embarkation: Live in New York so the car ride was about 1.5 hours. Crossed over the NYS Thruway heading towards Bear Mountain and took the Palisades Parkway down to the George Washington Bridge. Crossed her and arrived around 10:15 AM and parked at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. Two hundred forty five dollars for 7-days. Passed the dog sniff test and parked the car taking noting not to park under a lamp post knowing that birds would be near. Unloaded and locked the car. Wheeled luggage to the terminal elevator. Went down to the lower level. Walked outside and handed the baggage to a handler with a small tip and proceeded inside where we walked through customs and were immediately directed to the NCL check-in counter. With passports and cruise tickets in hand, process was quick and painless. Moved ahead and had a photo taken. Were given a boarding number 21 and sat down to relax and watch the people show for about an hour. Continue reading... Read The Reviews - Experience The Breakaway Yourself

Viking Emerald Viking Emerald - China April 2013 by swifs
We are experienced travelers and cruisers and we had never taken an escorted vacation before the Viking Emerald Imperials Jewels of China. However China presented challenges that we did not feel qualified to meet, so we signed up with Viking. We found the vacation more than met our expectations and we were satisfied in every way. We decided to take the Shanghai to Beijing route rather than the reverse because we wanted to begin the trip in Hong Kong (on our own) in order to deal with the jet lag before the main part of the trip and because my husband had been the Hong Kong on business before (albeit a long time ago). We discovered later that there was an additional benefit because this version of the trip allows one to visit the zoo in Chongking and see the pandas where the Beijing-Shanghai does not. Amsterdam 7-day Alaska Cruise by cruz'n bug
My husband and I have been on 14 cruises through our 41 years of marriage. Our very first cruise was for our honeymoon and we have been hooked on cruising ever since. This cruise was a gift to my mother for her 90th birthday. Cruising to Alaska was one of her dreams. Traveling to port and back: We flew to Seattle the day before the cruise, and stayed at the Best Western on Taylor Avenue. This is the pick-up site for Quick Coach, which provides transfer services to Vancouver (Canada Place Pier) and back. It is a no-frills hotel, but clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. We went to Alaska last year and picked this hotel again because of the convenience of being the pick-up point for the transfer service. For a one-night stay, before and after the cruise, it is fine. There are no porters (you have to take care of your luggage yourself), but there are at least luggage carts you can use. There is a small restaurant that serves a decent breakfast buffet. They also serve dinner, with a varied menu. Last year and this year our room had the view of the Seattle Space Needle - stunning! Continue reading... 7-day Alaska Cruise
