Keith is correct.
Please read the Sticky
titled What is a ROLL CALL and how do I find mine?
. The post will tell you important information about our famous Cruise Critic Roll Call Forums and how they are the place for you to get to know the other Cruise Critic members sailing with you before the cruise. Your fellow Roll Call members may have important information posted in the specific Roll Call thread for your line, ship and sail date. As mentioned in the Sticky
, the Roll Call thread for your cruise is the ONLY
place on Cruise Critic where you and your fellow Roll Call members may post personal ads about sharing tours, excursions, transportation etc. with each other. There is a "captive audience" since you are all sailing together!
After you have read the Sticky
for the Roll Call information, then click the link Keith provided to read through the thread to get to know the other Cruise Critic members sailing with you. Post an introductory message about yourself on the thread using the Post Reply
button and we feel sure your fellow Roll Call members will post welcoming replies to you on the thread. You will be forming your on-line relationship with the Cruise Critic cruisers sailing with you.
By the way, your last name and address was removed from your post per the following from the Guard Your Personal Information Carefully
section in the Guidelines
you agreed to follow when registering for your free membership:
It is best not to post your real name, address or phone number publicly on the boards. Also, keeping as much information about yourself private should be your first priority. Tthink carefully before posting too much other personal data on any public message board forum, such as your stateroom number or your real name, city, state and dates of cruising!
If we come across a posting that contains too much personal information, we will remove it automatically. It is, however, *your* responsibility to keep your personal information safe. If you see too much information on the boards, please use the Report a Post feature, or write to email@example.com with a LINK to the specific posting/thread.
I sincerely hope all this information will be helpful to a new member and glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic!
