On HAL, you will see some nice outfits put together with capri pants, heels, nice top, jewelry and the ladies look fine.

Why not? They aren't shorts and they aren't jeans go ahead, wear them as you want!!!!

I have always considered capris to be casual, not smart casual. Many companies with a business/smart casual dress code specifically prohibit capris.

Autocorrect responsible for most typos...
Past Cruises...
August 2002--Disney Magic Eastern Caribbean
October 2005--RCCL Mariner Western Caribbean
October 2011--Disney Dream Bahamas
June 2012--Windstar Wind Surf Back-To-Back, Rome to Venice to Athens
April 2014--Paul Gauguin to French Polynesia

Three weeks in Europe (two on a ship) with a 20" roll aboard and a tote bag--packing list here.

My all in a 20" wheeled bag for a warm weather cruise packing list here

20" rolling bag packing list for two weeks in a cool/cold climate here.

Dress capris are perfectly acceptable in the west and southwest as business dress, especially when the temps hit 90 and above. No hose, heels, dressy top, perfect.

If capris are considered appropriate for women on smart casual nites ... what's everyone's take on manpris? They essentially are capris for men.
