Kayaking in Progreso?

We're sailing on Elation mid October and I wanted to see if anyone had gone on the kayaking excursion that Carnival offers and how it was?

I asked this question a month or two ago and the only response I got was from someone who was thinking of going. Hopefully someone has gone since then and will respond.

Thanks for responding. I did look at the prior posts and even did a search for kayaking and was disappointed that there wasn't an answer. With the thousands of people that go on cruises, it seems that at least one would have done the kayaking. If there's a reason not to do, I'd certainly like to know that before signing up for it.
