I got it to work, helps to disable the pop up blocker!

Hi,
Thank you. I figured you would be the first to show the Empress.

Now if we can get the pictures after they cleaned up the mess.

I have never been on the Empress so I did not have a clue what I was looking at,

but, I still liked looking at them. I can't wait to sail her.

Great photos! I was on the Empress about 2 years ago. Had a GREAT time then. I can't imagine what it will be like now

Glad you all enjoyed the pics. Joyce flew down to Freeport to visit her crew member friends and she had them take her camera onboard. I'm waiting for the pics of the completed ship which my crew friends are taking now but the work isn't 100% completed. The ship should be totally finished in 2 weeks...stay tuned

Hi All!
Glad you like the pics. I hope I don't get anyone in trouble for taking them. I know RCI monitors the boards on occasion.

I'm so excited to see the new Empress. I don't have a cruise booked yet, but am living it through our friends on the ship. I spoke with them last night and they said everything is coming together nicely and everyone LOVES the new look and improvements.

Passengers this week are saying there's nothing like the Empress and I agree with them! It's sold out this week and next. I guess some other folks feel the same way!

RDeagazio - I'm now chomping at the bit even more about my up coming voyage (June 26) on the Empress. I saw her in port day before the 1 night cruise to nowhere and they were still carting construction debris off the ship in roll off containers via CRANE! This will be my 4th trip on her in 5 years, but I am struggling with the "familiar stranger" syndrome. I will miss the Carousel Pub, but will welcome a new bathroom. Still, changes of the magnitude that have been described will be a bit much to deal with. I have a picture of the old centrum as my wall paper. For those of you familiar with posts from cruzinjoan, she is on the ship as we speak, doing a back to back. If I get the chance to see or talk to her when she is in port before the Empress (Nordic or Of the Seas) is in for the turn around this weekend I will definately post what she has told me. Since she has sailed on the Empress more than 20 times I think that she'd be a good barometer. Saw the rock climbing wall from a distance - in my opinion it is an abommination. Sorry, love the ship the way she was.
