We will be sailing on the Veendam and stopping in Belize City. I love some of the tour descriptions, but know that some of them would be impossible for my husband who is severely hampered by arthritis and must walk with a cane, rather slowly. Can anyone recommend something that would be very interesting but not so strenuous? Thanks.

My husband uses a wheelchair. When we were in Belize we joined a van tour to Altun Ha at the pier. The driver gave us a city tour before going to Altun Ha which is about an hour ride, some of which is over a very rough road. Altun Ha is a fairly compact archeological site; however there the path from the parking lot to the ruins, although not long, is up a slope.
