We are staying in FLL for 2 days prior to our cruise out of Miami - looking for a beach hotel, for around $100/night. Ramada looked interesting....Does anyone have any experience with this one, or suggestions for something better?
Thanks! |

If this is the one on Galt Ocean Drive, I have stayed there a couple of times. While it is on the beach, it is far removed from the action. But the pool and beach area are very nice. The hotel itself is nothing special, think typical Ramada, but valet parking is cheap, like $6/day, and if you are middle aged, there is a bar in the lobby that caters to you. You won't be in the lap of luxury, but your stay should be very satisfactory.

Located on the ocean in the middle of Miami Beach, this low-key hotel is adjacent to the Fontainbleau Hilton; South Beach’s restaurants and nightclubs are ...
Enjoy rates from $103.00 per night between Sep-27-2005 and Nov-26-2005. More info on the site http://www.shoppingnowonline.com |
