Southampton to Heathrow

Does anyone know how much Princess charges in $US for transfers to Heathrow if we book on the ship.

I know it is 35pounds if we book it from here.

This is one place that Princess does transfers really well. They are super efficient. The buses load fast (unlike other ports) and off you go! Just make sure you're on the right bus because they're broken down by terminals sometimes and there will also be a bus or two to Victoria Station and LGW.

You do save a lot but it's much more of a hassle. You have to take a taxi (or walk a long way dragging your luggage behind you) to the train station in SoTon, then the train, then transfer to the Tube, for which you will need another ticket/pass. If you've got the time and don't mind the extra work, it's a great option. For me, I just want the easiest option at the end of my cruise and don't want to risk getting to my flight on time, but I know a lot of people have done it the train way and been satisfied.

We just booked the transfers from Southampton to Heathrow. $59US. Why hassle with the luggage with the busses/trains?

Yes, available through shore excursions desk on the ship. They will hand you the voucher when done in person, or sent to your cabin when done online.

A train or private transfer would cost an awful lot more than the princess costs, train to London can cost £65 and transfer about £80....you have a great deal with the princess transfers

Slightly off topic, but if you decide to do a private transfer- do not use British Airport Transport. We prepaid AND they stood us up. PayPal had to go after them for a refund. That was no fun..

Yes. There's a form you fill out with your flight information.
