Question Icon meanings?

On some forums, individual messages have icons on the far right: paper clip, checkmark, pushpin. What do those icons mean? I presume the pushpin is a permanent message created by the moderator and stays put at the top. What about the checkmark and paperclip?

The paper clip means that there is an attachment to at least one post in the thread. Usually these are photos that have been uploaded and appear appended to the relevant post.

A tick or check mark means that you are subscribed to the thread. This means that it will appear in your User CP whenever there is new activity on the thread, and if you have selected the appropriate option in Edit Options, you will get e-mail notification of activity on the thread, according to your choice.
