Default Key West Jet Ski review

My husband and I were in Key West on the Enchantment of the Seas last week. We arranged Jet ski rentals through Island Water Sports. Our e-mailed info said to check in at 9 am - well about 9 :35 someone showed up for our 9:30 tour. Due to the recent hurricane they were pretty disorganzied. Which was to be expected but this was like their 4th day of people after the hurricane. Anyway my husband & I each had our own jet skiis and were finally underway. I was pretty nervous as I have done a great deal of snowmobiling but little if hardly none jet skiing. It took a bit for me to get the hang of it but once I did it was a blast. Our guide was very informative and knowledgable. Half of the ride was just abit bumpy and it was a blast- the other half was pretty rough. Although it was still fun it was phyically demanding. You'd be going like 40 mph and hit a wave and go way up in the air and land on the water and be swamped by the next wave. It was pretty neat but I was glad when we were done as I was pooped. The next day both of us were sore. Mind you we are not in the greatest shape anyway.
Would I do it again ? Heck Ya!!! It was interesting to see all the damage from the hurricane. It was an experience we will never forget. Now as I sit in Duluth. MN waiting for the snowstrom to hit I wish I was back flying through the water getting pounded by waves.
I'd be happy to answer any questions.
By the way our teen age boys who were left home can not believe I actually drove my own jet ski. If I can do it anyone can.

Hi, sorry to bring up an old topic but what exactly was featured on the tour? Did you ride, stop and then hear some information? Do you remember what he talked about? Would you recomend it to a couple of 20 year olds or do you think it is better to just hang out on Duval Street?

Thanks!
