Default Transportation to the Port of Houston

My daughter and 2 or 3 friends (all adults) are think of taking the Sea from Houston this summer. I noticed that its about 40 miles from the airport to the port. What's the best way to get there?

Also, any comments on the Sea? I know it is an old ship, but it looks like a great itinerary.

del67, no doubt you can take a cab or shuttle from the airport. NCL offers a bus from the airport as well. From Hobby its about a 45 minute ride.

as for the ship, she is an older smaller ship, not a lot of glitz and glitter or glass and brass, but she has been refurbed and she is holding her age well.

the ship is very nicely laid out and very easy to navigate. both main restuarants are on the main deck, the buffet on deck 9 and the le bistro and pasta cafe on deck 10 aft.

we took her in february and we opted to sign up for the horseback/riverboat tour in belize, it was awesome.

hope this info helped. happy sailing
