Default Newbie seeks Freedom of Seas cabin advise

All,

Thanks to this website I didn't even realize that there was so much to it regarding selection of your cabin.

Is their a link to tell me what cabin I should be asking for when booking? I definitely want a balcony, but am really clueless besides that. I know this will be the largest ship afloat but it is better higher or lower? And
I certainly don't want something noisy over me, or more important an obstructed view. Any help would be kindly appreciated. Happy New Year.

P.S. I will be looking to book for mid November of 2006 .

http://cruiseclues.com/shipstips/freedomoftheseas.htm

deck plans-- just click to change the deck fromfloor to floor
right now its set on 2

lower is better if the ship hits rough waters.
try looking at a deck that is between two decks of cabin spaces and not public areas.
Midship is a good place too. (although I prefer the aft for a bigger balcony and awesome views.

DECK 9 IS BETWEEN decks of cabin space--away from public areas. you should be good with no noise.

Is this your first cruise??

Just a word-- being high up is not always the best. Being higher you feel more motion then you would on a lower one.
