Default Western Carib. which Ruins?

Head to the Western Carribbean on the Explorer and want to know which of the Mayan Ruin Tours would be best! Tubing and Ziplineing in Belize which leaves Costa Maya or Tulum in Cozumel. I do hear the beach and shopping just outside of Costa Maya is great. Any input would be great. Been to Cozumel. Help.

We did the Tulum tour from Cozumel. The ferry ride across was very rocky, but the ruins were wonderful.

We've been to Tulum twice. The first time we went in without a guide and it was OK The second time we had a guide and it was excellent. Make sure you hook up with a guide.

Chichen Itza, without a doubt. Tulum is nothing compared to Chichen Itza. The problem- it is a very, very long day (unless you fly in a puddle jumper).

While Chichen Itza is one of the best, Tulum is the best option for your itinerary. Tulum is unique as the only Mayan city on the sea. Watch the movie "Against All Odds" before going...it shows Cozumel and Tulum.
