The 308-guest Wind Surf will begin serving the menu later in the year.

“Windstar is a romantic, couples-oriented cruise line,” says Diane Moore, Windstar’s vice president of marketing and sales. “We want to offer unique experiences to enhance couples’ time together and a romantic dinner served in the privacy of their stateroom will be one more—and a fun way to reconnect!”

Windstar’s Romance Dinner—page 2

Dinner will be served in the comfort of the guests’ private stateroom. To enhance the romantic atmosphere, an elegant candle will grace the serving tray. For romantic music, guests may request an Apple iPod Nano which will be delivered with dinner and queued to the romance playlist. The Nano can be placed in the Bose SoundDock speaker installed in each stateroom.

A romance-inspired room service menu will be available in each stateroom. Guests may order the complimentary Cuisine de l’Amour one day in advance. Other options for purchase will be included on the room service card. For example, guests may opt to order champagne, wine to complement the meal, a massage in the spa and massage oil.

Windstar’s romantic and casually elegant atmosphere has been a hit with honeymooners and couples seeking vow renewal ceremonies. Weddings can also be arranged in advance for either ashore or on board the ship. Celebration packages are available for purchase such as the Honeymooners, Just for Us, Anniversary or Vow Renewal package. Details are available in the gift shop on Windstar’s website, www.windstarcruises.com.

Windstar is well known for traveling off the beaten path on itineraries from the Mediterranean, Amalfi Coast and Greek Isles to the Aegean Sea, the Caribbean and Costa Rica. In most destinations, a mixture of non-repeating, seven-day itineraries has been designed to allow for 14-day voyages with no repeating ports of call. Itineraries have also been adjusted for later departures and more overnights in ports so guests can enjoy more time for shopping, shore excursions and nightlife.

About Windstar Cruises
