Does Princess have passenger talent night?

They did this on our Carnival cruise and there were some extremely talented singers on our cruise.

YES, they do. In addition, I hear the Caribbean Princess is going to have "Princess Idol" similar to the TV show.

Yes they do. I was in the talent show on the Golden and Coral. Planning to be in the Carnival Miracle show if I make the cut. I play clarinet.

We were on the Diamond Princess last week and they had a week long Princess Idol competition with the finale on the evening of the last night. They had ships crew and the audience doing the judging and the 6 survivors were all pretty good. No big prize for winning, but a lot of fun.

Not really an audition. Just show up for the rehursal. They back you up with a piano and drums so if you have music bring it.

I had a problem. I play clarinet. The rehursal was fine. But durning the show the band could not hear me. They didn't have my mike on (different mike than singers). So we were fighting each other.

Insist on a Dress rehursal where the show is going to take place. Or tell them what happened to me and to make sure it will be correct.

one of our favorite parts of our Carnival cruises was the Talent show. On the Grand last year, we were very excited about the Talent show and were hugely disappointed They had hardly any interest and apparently solicited anything they could get (they said this)....then brought on a YODEL-ER! Hopefully your cruise will have more interest, we were disappointed

I am on the 7/11 Golden Trip to the Southern Car. and am looking forward to the talent show. So, I should bring my own music? I sing professionally, but end up singing more classical than Pop, so I would look forward to being able to do the opposite on the trip. Although, how funny would it be to bust out in "Nessun Dorma" on a cruise!?!
