We are going to be in Barbados at the end of June and have already booked a "Best of Barbados" tour at 12. I was wondering if there is anything to do that is relatively quick before the tour begins? Thanks.

Should we just shop around what is near the port?

The cruise terminal has about 20 shops in it, so that's an option.... Don't miss the Calypso Rum Cakes shop- they are much better than Tortuga
They give free samples and have plenty to buy or ship home..

Pelican Village, which is a crafts cooperative, is not too far from the terminal, so you could walk there and browse for a bit.

Are the prices of booze comparable in Barbados in relation to St. Maarten?

I am a big fan of rum and don't mind paying for some quality stuff. Could you recommend some different types of rum GTaylor? Thanks again.
