Default Laundry on Star

I've read threads that some ships have a "fill the bag day." What day is it on the Star and how much does it cost? We are traveling with a 6 month old and a 3 y.o. and hope not to have to pack their entire wardrobe for the trip. Thanks

I'm trying to remember the exact day. I think it was around day 4 or 5.

Enjoy!!!

I get the ships confused but are the Dawn and Star sister ships? I know the Dawn has a laundry facility where you can do your own wash. How do I know? My husband decided to do laundry.

Last year we went on the Dawn and there were a bunch of cc members planning to do laundry together and figuring who would bring the champagne, etc.

It was crazy but fun. Personally I would rather wear dirty clothes than do laundry while on a cruize.

While the Dawn and Star are very close sisters, there are a few differences, just like the Jewel, Pride of Hawaii, and the Pearl have minor differences.
One of these differences is self service laundrymats, the Dawn has them while the Star doesn't.

We just got back from the Star 5/7-14 Alaska cruise. I believe the bag and order form was left on the bed on our Wednesday night turn down and had to be picked up by Thursday afternoon. I believe it was $20.00 for everything you could fit in the bag. Special items/delicates incurred an additional charge.
