Default 4th of July on Caribbean Princess

Perhaps this is a dumb question, as I know this ship is not registered in the USA, but do they do anything to celebrate the Fourth of July onboard? Never missed one before.

I can't speak for Princess, but neither Carnival nor Celebrity did anything for July 4 when we were on them for the last 2 4ths. On Carnival, there was a sign posted that said, "To our American friends, happy Independence Day" . Not exactly spectacular fireworks off the stern. On Celebrity there was no mention whatsoever.

I should add that we will be on the Caribbean Princess with you this 4th, but I am not expecting anything.

Being that I am sailing with all of you on July 3, I was curious about having anything special on July 4th. I did read that they do fireworks - where - who can remember. I will look to see where I found it and let you know. July can't come soon enough for me. NancyK

It's me again - I found it - go on the web sight www.lifeiscruising.com - when the websight comes up - look on the left- click on start here and then scroll down to Holiday Cruising. You will see it says - fireworks on July 4th. Until we meet in July..NancyK

Should we move the fireworks discussion to the roll call thread? Actually, Carnival told us in 2002 that they usually did fireworks, but they weren't that year due to post 9/11 concerns.
