Does anyone know if you can upgrade at the pier? I recently did that on Royal Caribbean and went from a standard balcony to an owners suite for $400 total. Does Princess do that too?
Thanks, Lucy |

Princess dosen't upgrade at the pier. You have to go to the Purser's desk and put your name on a list that states you are willing to pay for an upgrade if rooms are available. We did that 2 years ago on the Golden and the cost was presented to us from a mini-suite to a suite of $400. We didn't accept since it was already day 3 of our cruise. I read on this board to call 1-800-PRINCESS the week before your cruise and ask if rooms are available, or you can ask your travel agent to do this for you. Hope this helps.
