We are flying from Iguazu to the domestic airport in Buenos Aires, where we must transfer to the international airport to catch our flight back to the US. The Aerolineas Argentinas (actually Austral Air)flight is scheduled to arrive at 6:50 PM, and our American Airlines flight departs EZE at 10:55 PM. We will have a car service meet us and take us to EZE, and I'm hoping that we will have only carry-on luggage on the Iguazu flight.
Assuming the flights are on-time (see follow-up question),will we have plenty of time to make our international flight back to the US? Does anyone have knowledge/experience of the on-time reliability of Aerolineas/Austral Air on this route? Thanks. Mike S |

We were with friends who did just that. Our Aerolineas (Austral) was on time leaving Iguazzu---Feb. 2006. We stayed 4 more days in BA, but our friends made it in great time. Carlos Vitro, our tour guide in BA, made the arrangements--a super taxi driver. I will alert you that in the Iguazzu airport, we arrived early, but had to sit in the waiting area. Then, it seemed at the last minuted they opened the check-in area and it was kind of a mad rush. They were checking everything at that time. The flight was nice, and they did leave on time.
