Just wanted to say thanks for this post. We are cruising on the Holiday in August and have found very little info about her. :-)

cruiseclues ~ Great site you've got there! I saw my friend lefiller's review there, but not mine - just kidding, mine was VERY long.

phinfan ~ I'm surprised you haven't read much on the board about the Holiday. Lots of us love that ship! Any other questions, just ask.

Cotton,

Thanks for the compliment. If you can give us the link to your message board post review, we can add it.

Thx, but I have NO clue as to how to post a link to my review. Sometimes I feel so inadequate.

Cotton, Can you tell me the date (or near the date) you posted the review?

Well, let's see - I have a copy in my "favorites". I'll get back with ya.

......Ok, that didn't take long. The title of the thread was "HOLIDAY review (5-day cruise)". It was posted on 9/15/03. It's LONG, and is broken down into Day One, Day Two, etc.

I've found the date on both the Carnival board, and the Cruise Reviews board, but can't seem to find the review. To which board was it posted?

This one. Maybe it's been relegated to the great board of outer cyberspace?

When you click the link in your favorites, does it take you to the review post? If it does, you can copy the link url it and paste it in your next post. If you have problems, I can give you the specific details.

Checked the Carnival Roll Call board to see if it was transferred inadvertently, but there was only one post for 9-15-03.

Is 9-15-03 the date of the last post? The date of the last post is what I'll need.

Just looked again. The last reply to my thread was 9/21/03.

I know how to post URLs, normally, but for some reason, can't do it on this forum....weird, I know, but I've tried.

Cotton, Great! We found it, and posted it on our Holiday page. While we were looking we added a number of message board reviews to our Shipstips pages.

WOW...you did it! You're GOOD! (I feel as important as lefiller now.)

I have put your website in my 'favorites', so I can go back and really look it over soon. Y'all have done an amazing job with it! THX!

I have a few questions about the Holiday (and will probably think of more later).

- Are there shower curtains (i keep reading to take clothes pins for these)

- I have late seating for dinner but was curious if there is seating "times" for breakfast and lunch also.

- Is there self-service laundry facilities on the ship

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yep, I never had a problem with shower curtains staying together.

Yes, the Holiday does have assigned seating in the dining room for b'fast and lunch. (Some ships don't.) On PORT days and the day of debarking, it is open seating for breakfast. Otherwise, go to your regular seating time for all three meals.

- Is there self-service laundry facilities on the ship?
There are laundry facilities on each deck, complete with washer, dryer, ironing board, and iron.

Thanks in advance for your help.
You're welcome!
