Travel Insurance - Need suggestions
The last trip we went on (a land trip to California) I purchased trip cancellation insurance through AAA and found out when I got home that I could have had a better policy through American Express. Now I see people on the boards that have recommended online insurance with TravelEx or CSA. Can someone give me some advice on good experiences they've had and if you think I'd be better off purchasing it through an online agency as opposed to AAA, etc? Also, should I just insure the flights and cruise itself or would I need to cover the cost of excursions? I was reviewing my cruise papers today and although I haven't made final payment yet, which is due January 28, 2007, it says there may be a penalty if I needed to cancel within 90 days of the sail date, which would be in about ten days. Any help you can give me would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Check out insuremytrip.com. I would think if you are going to insure your trip, insure it all. Air, cruise, medical, etc etc.

Also look into STATRAVEL.COM. It is a student travel site but they insure anyone. We have used several times and they are great.
