Precruise Hotels in San Diego?

Does anyone know of a reasonable hotel close to the pier in San Diego? Would prefer one with a swimming pool....

There is a Holiday Inn across the street from the dock. There is also an Embassy Suites within a block. They both have pools. Hope that helps.

There is a Holiday in right across the street from the Cruise terminal. I believe it is the Holiday Inn "On the Bay". There are serveral so ask when making reservations to make sure they are right across the street.
Don't know about a pool, but think they probably have one.

Don't think I can post a link but go to signonsandiego.com and check out the webcam. (upper right portion of screen) The Columbia seleciton will show you the cruise terminal...pan right and you can see the Holiday Inn...the blue building.

Looks like the Spirit is in port today...before it sails..
