Default Excursion Help

My sister and I will be on the Maasdam on 5/19/07. The stops are: Quebec; Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; Sydne, NS; Halifax, NS and Bar Harbor. Looking for info. on excurstions other than booking them through the ship. Can anyone help?

Thanks for any advice.
Mary

If you are interested, there is a good whale watching tour that leaves right from the dock at Bar Harbor (the same location where the cruise ship tender would leave you). They typically leave and return well within the period of time the ship arrives and leaves.

There have been some very good posts on this board on things to do at different locations, especially Bar Harbor It will be cool in the Bar Harbor area (but one never knows). Most shops will be just opening ... make sure you dress in layers (it probably will not be shorts weather). Jan
