Taxi beach and island tour?

We love the beaches in the Caribbean but don't want to miss the best of Dominca. I'm assuming there will be taxis that will take us on "custom" tours. What are the must sees and a great beach to spend a couple hours relaxing?

Thanks and I apologize if this is a duplicate thread. The board is slow on my computer and it takes me forever to browse through everything.
