Default Malta - Private Tour Guides

Can anyone recommend a private guide for Malta?

Thanks!

We visited Malta on our cruise earlier this month and it was one of our
favourite ports. We used Malta Travel Net for our day there and they were wonderful. I would highly recommend them. Our guide was Brigitte and she was really great - very knowledgeable and great to spend the day with.
Chris Sheridan, the owner of the company, runs a very reliable and
professional company.

Enjoy Malta - we'd love to return and spend some time there.

Thanks! I will look them up. I think I found them. Is it maltatravelnet.com? What did you decide to do on your day? Did you get together with others on your roll call? How many on your tour?

We also used maltatravelnet.com and had an excellent tour with Ms. Borg of that company--the tour included a private car and driver for me, DW and DD. Basically, the guide will take you wherever you want and spend as much time in each place as time allowed--very informative and professional. We walked around Valletta and toured the St. John's Co-Cathedral and the Palace of the Grand Master, drove to Mdina, then Marsaxlokk (nice seaside town with market and restaurants), followed by Hagar Qim (Malta's version of Stonehenge). A very nice day and much cheaper than the private tours on our other port stops.

We booked the Malta Classic Tour which went to the same sites that the
previous poster, Les and his group visited. There were four of us, my husband and myself, and two friends from home who were also on the cruise. It was one of the best days we had and it ended up to be much
less expensive than the ship's tour and we got to see more at our own
pace.

We used Joan Sheridan of Malta Travel Net in July 2007. She was amazing and we had a great day with her.
