We are interested in taking the Uxmal tour. I was wondering if we should just book through Carnival or wait till we get to the port and take the tour through a tour company?? Thanks for you responses!!:D

On a day when two ships were in port, Autoprogresso only had two people booked for the Uxmal tour.

They used a cab and so it was a cab driver, a tour guide, me and the other passenger from the other ship.

Everything went fine and it was such a personal tour.

I'll agree about Autoprogreso. We had pre-booked a tour with them, and it was just us wtih our own tour guide in air conditioned van. He was great, and we got a wonderful personal tour, cheaper than with RCI. You can book ahead or just go to their booth at the pier.
