Ventura Arrives in Southampton (Pics)

Ventura arrived for the first time in Southampton this morning. At first it looked like it was going to be in a snowstorm but the snow did stop and the sun tried its best to break through!

The sun came out for Ventura as she started to make her turn to lie portside at the Mayflower.

Lots like us turned up to see. Impressive site. She is very tall.

Thanks for your comments and I'm glad that you like the pictures. I was stood at the end of Town Quay which was a good vantage point... just a bit cold!!

Love the photos.

We were in Southampton for her arrival and watched her arrive from Mayflower Park. In the afternoon, we took the Harbour Tour from Ocean Village and the sun came out and we got some fantastic close up pictures.
