In trying to create my count down clock. I seem to keep getting the text repeating itself when I paste it in the text box after using CP ...How do I remove this, and start over? How do I stop this happening?

Thanks for your help... Tony

Arrow Tony,

Since you did not mention which countdown clock you are trying to use it is a bit hard helping you. Also, there is no countdown clock showing in the signature portion of your profile at the time I type this reply. I assume you have now been able to remove what you have done before.

Could you please give a little more information such as which countdown clock you are trying to use? It might make a difference in what text you state is repeating.

Thanks,
Kat

Oops Sorry, it's the cruise critic countdown clock. a person at your end removed them for me and I am trying to start over. I transfered the text by hitting CP after highlighting text, and hit ctrl and v at the same time to move it to the text box, the text kept repeating, in the box. I've tried to delete it but it just keeps scrolling down and wont go away.

Hope I've explained myself a little better.

Thanks
Tony

Arrow Tony,

There is nothing there now so your signature is clear and nothing needs to be deleted at this time.

Tell me the info you want in your Cruise Critic Countdown Clock (ship, sail date, which picture, & any comments) and I will try to put it in for you.

Kat, you are a sweetheart ( I'm guessing you are a woman) if you're a feller, then you're a great guy.

Clock #1 Oosterdam sailing December 6 2008, Caption to read "So heave up the anchor and let us aweigh"

Clock #2 Prinsendam sailing October 18 2009 Caption to read " I must go down to the sea again to the lonely sea and the sky"

As we are sailing Tuesday on the Zaandam, we'll leave that one off, to save deleting it again. That's what started this situation, I had put Zaandam and Oosterdam on (all by my self) I tried to enter the Prinsendam but could not seem to get three clocks on at the same time, Soooo, I deleted Zaandam and thats when I got into trouble.

I appreciate your help Kat. Oops I forgot the pictures. How about Orange sun Scene for Oosterdam and The Greek (I think it's Santorini) for Prinsendam

Regards Tony

Arrow Tony,

You are most welcome! (And please notice the bow between my ears above. *Snicker... Snicker*)

Do you want a period at the end of your remarks and quotes around them?

Oh, and it might take a while for me to get back to you. I was washing clothes and had to stop the washing machine mid cycle. It seems the drain for the washing machine water has a clog in it. There is water all over the garage floor and I will be mopping up. Someone is on the way over here to see what can be done. Of course it being a Sunday morning... they will get here... when they get here. Not holding my breath for sure!

I'll leave the punctuation up to you Kat. I am not the most computer literate person, (in case you hadn't guessed) and I really do appreciate what you are doing for me. I hope you get you drain unclogged, and your washing and ironing done. We are getting a heavy dump of Spring snow here, I hope the roads will be clear for our ride to the airport tomorrow. Please put the clocks up at your convenience, Thank you again Kat...Meow.... Tony

Smile Yeeehaaaa!

You now have two clocks in your signature! Purrrr... purrrrr!!

The guy is here now working out back on clearing the pipe to the main sewer pipe. The house sits on an acre and a half and the sewer line is behind the back fence. There are lots of pecan trees and he thinks a tree root may be the problem.

Ah, snow... now that's something we hardly ever see down here on the Texas Gulf Coast. Ever so often, someone leaves one of the fence gates open up in our panhandle over 725 miles away and we see a little bit of it down here. Last time I remember was Christmas Eve a few years ago. That was VERY RARE for us as our coldest weather is usually January or February. And even then, snow is not often in the forecast.

Right now, it is 75F with an expected high of 80F. The low tonight should be around 70F. Wish I could send you some of our weather for your trip to the airport tomorrow!

Thank you so much Kat (woof woof) It looks GREAT, well since I last posted you, We went out in the snow to say our farewells and on the freeway a car in the next lane skidded, sideswiped me, did a 180 and hit my front end. The good news is, no one was hurt. It looks like major damage to both cars though. Could you come up here and look after the details for me whilst we are on our cruise? I'm snickering. Actually our neighbor has been kind enough to look after things for us I really am a lucky guy today. Out temp is minus 11c I forget what that is in f...Thanks again Kat, I will be sure to toast you on board Zaandam.
Oh shoot, I forgot to key in so HEAVE up the Anchor Kat, do you think you could insert the word "Heave" between so and up. I hate to be picky but "pretty please". Many thanks ...Tony

Arrow Tony,

No problem to add "heave". Has been done. It was not your fault, it was me not checking my work carefully.

So sorry to hear of the accident and glad no one was hurt!! Wish I could come take care of things for you!

I thoroughly loved my one trip to Canada. Went to Windsor some years ago with a friend to visit their aunt and to help find an assisted living place for her. She wanted to go, her large 2 bedroom high-rise condo was getting too much for her. She had about half of each lung removed and was constantly on oxygen. She had a very long cord so she could meander all over her place, but keeping up with her housework was too hard. Since I am a smoker, I spent a lot of time out on one of her two balconies watching the black squirrels down in the trees with binoculars. At first, I thought they were cats since our squirrels are gray.

It was in late November and we spent our Thanksgiving Day at the casino. The BEST part of the trip was I hit $1,500.00 on the first 3 quarters I tried! So you can see why I loved my trip!!!

Glad to be of service with your clocks, and "Cheers!" back at you!

Wow Kat you are a lucky one, I tend to stay out of the casinos, especially on the ships, they don't pay like the used to. I did win $300 once though 1988, what a memory... I once was a smoker some 30 years ago, last July I was diagnosed with bladder cancer, the urologist asked if I ever smoked and said that's what caused it. This will be my first cruise with no bladder, I hope it works out ok...We are in Western Canada,Province of Alberta, some 5 hours flying time from Toronto, 1 hour flying time from Vancouver...Glad you enjoyed your trip to Windsor. We've traveled to about half of the States, always enjoyed our trips South of the border... Thanks again Kat for fixing me up.
Bow wow. Tony

Arrow Tony,

My casino (aboard a ship or otherwise) days are over. Have to stay out for cost containment reasons. Living on a fixed income is not conducive to gambling.

Since I cruise with kidney stone problems and only about 18 inches of small intestine working instead of the normal 25 feet, you can do it with no bladder!

Now here comes the native Texan in me... if y'all ever have a hankerin' to cruise from Texas, come on down and sail out of Galveston! We would love to have y'all, ya hear!!

, it wasn't a tree root. I was given a lecture on how important it is to let the water run for a while after using the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink.
