Question carnival liberty cabin #7448 or any conquest ship cabin aft 7448

Please help me with this cabin. I have heard this cabin is alot smaller than all the other aft cabins on the ship. Anyone have pics of this room? What makes this room so much smaller? Thank you for your help and happy cruising. Dawn

Aft cabins on the 7th/empress deck are smaller because they have crammed 8 aft balconies into the same amount of space as they did 6 cabins on the upper(6th) and verandah(8th) decks..

Good luck and have a great cruise!!!

I can't answer about 7448 but I have had 7442 and it was the same size as every other balcony room I have had on Carnival. 7442 does not have a sofa so it actually seemed bigger than any other balcony room I have had. I prefer the aft cabins on deck 7 because they are between two decks of staterooms so there is no noise from any public spaces.

We were in 8455, one deck higher... Looking down on the balcony below, 7448, there is no true 'aft' balcony.. Just the corner and side..! Thus, the door to the balcony must be on the side... Seems as tho' that would take up cabin space! And, YES, there are two extra aft cabins on Deck 7..

Be aware, the 9A's do not have a couch.. A small table and two chairs, one of which you'll probably leave at the vanity!

Stick with Deck 8 if possible.. We have 8448 booked on the Freedom this coming December.. Love the 9A's..!!
We would book Deck 7, if none of the other 9A's were available, but Deck 6 or 8 are your best bet! IMHO!

Thank you so much for the pictures. They were lots of help. Looks like a nice cabin. It does look smaller than the other aft balcony rooms. What did you think of the room? There will only be 2 of us going. Will it be big enough? Thanks!

if I'm not mistaken, deck 8 is verandah, just under lido. do you get any noise from the above pool area in the 9a's on 8??

This was our first aft cabin and really can't compare it to any other aft cabin. However, my girlfriend and I found the cabin to very spacious. There is no sofa; just a table and chair. We really enjoyed the cabin and didn't have any problems.

Thank you Kcarp for the info. It looks like a nice room. Cant wait to see it. Well it should be the same on the Liberty as it was on your ship. Thanks again,

If you want a HUGE balcony, the aft/wrap 9A's are the only way to go...!! I'd stick with the 9A over a side balcony for $200. OBC any day!!!

Cabin 8455, or 8448 on Verandah are shaped differently than the 9A on Deck 7.. As has been said before, they squeezed in two extra aft cabins on that deck.... The Deck 7, 9A is similar in size/shape to the 8C adjacent to it, except the 9A has the HUGE balcony!!

Good luck, but reconsider the 9A for the HUGE balcony, if you enjoy that option.. If it doesn't matter (the HUGE balcony), you'll be happy with the Cat. 8... Have a GREAT cruise!!

I think some of the aft balcony cabins on deck 7 have a different configuration than the one of 7448 in the photo. Does anyone have photos from another aft balcony cabin on deck 7?

Not true. Deck 6 and 8 have larger 9A cabins. Look at deck plans.
