Default Aspirin in Belly Button...Cure for seasickness?

I have been researching sea sickness remedies and came across a website that suggested placing an aspirin in your belly button, held in by a bandaid, is a sure fire way to avoid motion sickness.

Has anyone even heard of this, let alone tried it?

Thoughts?

Not that one but I have had parents take a thread from their newborns clothing and put it between their eyes to cure hiccups. The babies still had hiccups though. Old wives tale or mind over matter.

I vaguely recall an story about holding an aspirin firmly between the knees, but I think that was to prevent something else...

I'm still laughing! Can you imagine? too funny..... They do say that a significant part of sea sickness is psychological. Perhaps the remedy has a placebo effect? Or... maybe the aspirin smuggling cruiser is just so embarassed about hiding a pill in her naval that she forgets to be sick!

I don't know about the aspirin but I know this is a scientifically proven cure:
Put the lime in the coconut, drink them both together,
Put the lime in the coconut, then you feel better,
Put the lime in the coconut, drink them both up,
Put the lime in the coconut, and call me in the moooooorning!

An aspirin taped in your belly button and you're in Colorado, WILL prevent sea sickness!
