Joanne3000 Posted September 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2004 The Princess web site says you can bring wine or champagne on board. Has anyone done this? I wouldn't want to have a problem.:)
bardgal Posted September 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2004 I hand-carry a case of champagne on board every cruise, and am planning on doing it on 10/9. Never have a problem, just sore arms. ;)
Rare oskidunker Posted October 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2004 Or put it in your suit case. Or Bring a wine bag with wheels, like I do. THEN you take it to the dining room and they will pour if for you for a $10.00 corcake fee. I do this unless I am going to Europe. Tip: Bring a magnum or double magnum, corkage is still $10.00. And they will bring it out every night for you from their secret cellars. It used to be they sometimes would not charge the corkage, but alas on the Baltic trip we took in July , they were collecting. p.s. Skip the Premium wine tasting. You get a thimble full of wine and tons of food. What else is new!

cruiserforlife Posted October 1, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2004 oskidunker, I'd like to see you haul a double-magnum (equals 4 750ml bottles) of wine through an airport!
Shelli Posted October 1, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2004 We brought several bottles of wine and a couple of large, fancy bottles of beer (my husband is a beer connoisseur) in our carry-on on our recent cruise. The bottles were in bags in the carry-on-- and no one asked to actually see them. For all the x-ray checkers knew, they could have been liquor bottles. I found it odd that they went thru so easily. jackjoyus Posted October 1, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 1, 2004 We always bring our own wine on board, usually in our carry-on, no one has ever said anything!!! We enjoy having it in the room when ever we want it!!
