Default Anyone On The Triumph?

If I am not mistaking today is the first cruise on the Triumph since she came out of Dry Dock. Is anyone onboard? If so please post a report/review and pictures when you get the chance. Due to the internet usage charges perfectly understand if you have to wait until after the cruise.

Couple questions I have.

1. Is the rumor about flat screen tvs in the rooms true? If so what size?
2. How is the Seaside theater? Are they showing football (College and/or NFL)
3. When they said new bedding does this mean the sheets/blankets or the mattresses.

Any info would be much appreciated. 28 days to go until I get to see for myself

I am on the Triumph as I write this...using tethering my phone to laptop for internet. It is 6:10 local time, yet we still haven't left port for some reason. The Valor left over an hour ago.

Anyway, answers to your questions. No flatscreen in our room, but we got a cheap room, so it could be different elsewhere. The seaside theater is pretty neat. They've been showing NFL games today, which has at least helped to alleviate the boredom of the delays.

Bedding does seem new, but then again, we are first time cruisers, so we have nothing to compare it to.

Here's a picture of the theater to wet your appetite

YES

You have made my day. I see they were showing the SD vs Miami game which is the local game in Miami so probably coming in over antenna. I wonder if they will switch over to the Satelitte feed from Denver once you leave port.

Too bad on the flat screen tvs, but since we dont spend much time in the rooms its not too big of a deal for us.

Hope you guys take off soon. As long as you get out tonight your itenarary should not be at risk. Have fun and thanks again for the update and picture.

Wow thanks for the update. Have a great cruise and try to keep in touch during your cruise. Would love to hear what people are saying about the ship since the Dry Dock

I believe they're only doing the flat-screen TVs on the Fantasy class evolutions of fun upgrades. During the larger ship 2 week dry docks, they are not upgrading the TVs at this point.

Cool picture. My kids, well really my 4 year old, is so excited about going on "the ship". He keeps asking if we're leaving tomorrow. DH and I have vowed to not talk about the cruise anymore in his presence since it's so far away. Thanks for sharing.

Sure looks that way. I think the Buffet is in the other direction. Wonder when they finally set sail. They were late leaving.

Wow! Is that the line for the bar? On the Ecstasy they also had a table situated right there selling coke cards on the first day. Hard to imagine that many people willing to wait in that long line just cokes though . . .

They are serving food at that location. It isn't the big buffet but they are serving Hamburgers and hotdogs there.

Default Itinery Flip-flop & Shore Excursions

My wife and I will be on the Nov. 2 Triumph cruise. We just printed off our documents and noticed that we'll now be going to Jamaica first and Cozumel last, which is the opposite of when we booked it. Is this correct?

Also, we've had trouble trying to book shore excursion thru Carnival. I don't know if they're full or they're having trouble with the website. Anyone else having difficulty? We can and may book them ourselves thru another site, but wanted to make sure when we'll be visiting each island and when the boat leaves.

We are also on the Nov 2 sailing of the Triumph. The change is correct. Did you notice we also have less time in Cozumel than origanally planned. The excursions have not been available on-line since they made the change. Not sure if it will be back up or if we will have to book something when we get to the ship. Don't know about you but I am ready to go.

Hi Virginia,
Yeah. It appears that we will have about 5 hours less in Cozumel than before. Oh well, we're looking forward to getting away for a week. Can't wait!

Cool

I am surprised there has not been more reporting live from Triumph since it is the first cruise out after drydock. Traditionally the first cruise out after drydock is plagued with things that do not work or jobs that were not finished in drydock and are still being completed while at sea. It just seems too quiet!

I too was wanting to hear more about the ship after Dry Dock. Hopefully everyone is having a great time on board and no time for reporting back . I am sure if there were any real problems we would hear Maybe we will hear something today.
